Designed by architectual firm Foster and Partners, the new academy is the replacement for three ageing schools. Clymac was selected to design and install the fire systems in the building due to the project team's confidence in our experience in matching the need for extensive detection with the architect's design brief. The large atrium ceiling is an acoustic honeycomb arrangement where fire sensors could not to be visible. Aspirating smoke detection with hidden pipework extends throughout this area, matched by a discreet installation of several hundred other fire devices controlled through a multi-panel network.
