Site Overview

Of strategic importance to the operations of the Mirror Newspaper Group's printing output, this building presented many logistical issues and technical challenges to ensure the fire safety systems were right. Working with Colin Todd Associates risk assessment, Clymac designed and installed a Category L5/P2/M system to the entire facility. Aspirating smoke detection was used in the printing press hall and the thirty five meter high paper drum storage facility. The system also comprises a multi-panel network, several hundred devices, all of which are managed through a Maestro graphics system located in the security suite.
