Apprentice Fire Alarm Engineer

As part of our continued success, we are pleased to announce our Fire Alarm Apprentice Scheme.

The positions available are located in London preferably within the London orbital. Apprentice engineers will be trained in the commissioning of high performance fire detection systems.  This role involves initial on site visits, liaising with the system installer to ensure they are confident with all aspects of the system and understand what is required prior to the commissioning taking place.

The commission visit itself can be anything from simple additions to a full new system set-up including cause and effect testing and handover.  You will also be trained in locating installation faults and setting to work all equipment supplied.

As a further insight into the fire alarm industry time will be spent at the Loughborough office working alongside the Design team and Sales team.

You will be required to attend college 1 day a week for a 2 year period to complete a recognised electrical/electronic qualification.

Potential candidates should possess a minimum of 4 GCSE’s grade ‘C’ or above to include English, Maths, Science and another.  Candidates must also be in possession of a full clean UK driving license.
