Z720 Heat Sensor

The Z720 heat sensor employs analogue detection techniques to minimise false alarms whilst enhancing the detection of real fires.
At regular intervals each sensor is automatically re-calibrated. Auto calibration provides constant sensitivity to ensure the performance of each sensor is not impaired if drift in the standing level begins to occur.

The Z720 heat sensor employs analogue detection techniques to minimise false alarms whilst enhancing the detection of real fires.
At regular intervals each sensor is automatically re-calibrated. Auto calibration provides constant sensitivity to ensure the performance of each sensor is not impaired if drift in the standing level begins to occur.

If sensor drift reaches a certain level, its details are entered into the control panel's 'service' log. The use of the service log reduces on going cost by identifying any sensors requiring attention, providing planned rather than reactive maintenance activities.

Every 24 hours each sensor performs a fire simulation test. The results of the test are analysed to ensure every sensor will react correctly under a real fire condition for total peace of mind.

Each sensor can be adjusted at the control panel to 1 of 4 levels of temperature to match its operating environment. A day/night facility allows the sensitivity level of each sensor to be automatically changed to suit an environment that changes with time.

Peace of mind is provided in the knowledge that each sensor is not only performing correctly but its sensitivity has been tailored for optimum performance.

Details

LPC approval of the sensor confirms its compliance with EN54 part 5 and ensures its suitability for such applications as boiler rooms, kitchens and cleaner's cupboards.

In addition to being low profile, the option of recessed mounting the use of a flush base makes for an even more aesthetically pleasing installation. A locking mechanism can be enabled on the sensor to prevent unauthorised removal from its base. This facility makes the sensor ideal for low ceilings and public buildings.
